Bounce Green: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, for Eternity!

We will be your partner through the process of making your club 100% Carbon Netural

Ben Notaris (Long Island Chapter head) doing their semi-monthly pickup and receiving over 2,500 balls!

How?

Your club can become carbon-neutral by partnering with Serve2Sustain. Serve2Sustain will work with you to collect your tennis balls and prevent them from becoming carbon waste. The process is easy; a local Serve2Sustsain member will come to your club once a month and retrieve all your tennis balls. We will handle the repurposing for you at little to not cost. Once your balls are in Serve2Sustains custody, we ship them to our partner facility, where they are repurposed into materials that can be made into tennis courts. When the tennis balls are stripped of materials, they are then sold to Lakeloyd to use the materials in their tennis courts.

Club Tax Incentives

Clubs receive a special write-off through our organization. We value each ball at ¢40, meaning each club gets a 40-cent tax deduction. This means some clubs will make money or break even on recycling their tennis balls through us. If you are interested in working with us, contact us at serve2sustain@gmail.com and we will connect you to a Serve2Sustain member in the area.

“The program is truly too easy; we just don’t throw away the dead tennis balls and wait for the Serve2Sustain member to pick them up and recycle them every month.”

  • It is completely free to participate in serve2sustain as we absorb all costs.

  • We value each used tennis ball at 40¢ each. This means every ball that is donated and then repurposed grants your club a tax deduction. However, this can only be given if the club pays for the service instead of receiving it for free like the majority of our participating clubs.

  • All the tennis balls are shipped to our Partner RecycleBalls, which repurposes the tennis balls into tennis courts, which are used at various tournaments across the US.
