Serve2Sustain: Making tennis a greener sport, not just the color of the ball.

The Problem

In the United States, approximately 125 million tennis balls are sent to landfills every year. The balls contribute around 20,000 metric tons of rubber waste, making tennis one of the most environmentally damaging sports.

What we do

Serve2Sustain is a nonprofit dedicated to giving tennis balls a new lease on life. Instead of letting them go to waste, we work with tennis clubs to collect used balls at minimal cost. These balls are then sent to our partner facility, where advanced machinery separates their materials for reuse.

Once processed, the balls find a new purpose through our partnership with Laykold, the premier supplier of tennis courts for prestigious events like the US Open. By repurposing tennis balls, we contribute to sustainability efforts while supporting the game we love. Join us in serving the planet, one ball at a time.
